Wordpress Theme for Promoting Apps

Came across this recently and thought I'd share. It's a FREE Wordpress theme for promoting your iPhone apps. It's pretty well done. http://www.tapptics.com/iphone-app-wordpress-theme/ Here's one of the pages I've created with the theme. http://jc-evans.com/app/north-carolina-basketball Enjoy!

I came accross that too- I think it was advertised on Cult of Mac. Are you able to make multiple "app pages" with the one WordPress install, though? If you can, that would be amay-zing.

Thats a really nice looking app. I'm curiously, how did you get the schedule to display like that rather than linking it from a web page? Did you create it and add as an image or will it update with scores as it goes along? Thanks for sharing, really looks great.

@javooooo - Yes, you can do multiple pages on a single wordpress install. There's not menu provision so each page would be separate. The way I got around that is to use an <iframe> within one of my site's existing pages: http://jc-evans.com/app-center/college-football-apps/big-10-roadtrip/ @Alex@TM - The schedule is a custom url linked to the mobile ESPN page. For the screen shot I scrolled it up a bit to hide the ESPN header.

Also, have you come across any issues using rss feeds? I started an app which was based around feeds and realised during the creation that some of the sources of the feeds said for non commercial use only..

Thankfully, I haven't run into feed issues yet. I run all of the feeds for my apps through my server first. That way I can pull entire articles and make sure they're mobile formatted. Most sites (at least the sports sites) don't play well with mobile yet. Plus most rss feeds are excerpts rather than the full story.

Thanks for the plugin info. One question though... Have you tried to integrate the Wordpress login page/user info with your apps yet? I have a wp site and am thinking hard about trying to get this to work.
