Appoxee problem with no top menu bar (iOS)

I've changed my app so there's no top menu bar. This is a problem because the Appoxee envelope icon appears there. So when I send a push message out, there's no way for people to read it. I have a tabbed layout at the foot of the screen, can I move the Appoxee envelope icon down there? If I absolutely need to, I can reinstate the top menu bar, but it would mean resizing the icons on the home page and they're currently stored within the app (i.e. not remotely accessed), so that would be a nuisance. An alternative I guess would be to have the Appoxee notification open automatically after a push. Anyone got an idea how I could do that? If I do that, I'd like to be able to link to the messages panel from elsewhere in the app...how could I do that? that would still be a pain as I'd have to resubmit the app to the app store as I assume this would mean changing code.

In the code for appoxee, there is a description and commented out code that details how to move the appoxee icon.

oh, great, thanks, I'll check that out. One easier way would be to hide the bottom tab bar on the menu page and show the top bar, but I've set the bottom tab bar to "yes, hide the tab bar" but it's still showing.

You can remove the badge from the icon using the following method: [UIApplication sharedApplication].applicationIconBadgeNumber = 0; What do I need to do in order for my push message to appear full screen when you open the app?- It should open in full screen automatically. If it doesn't please add a screenshot of the way it opens at the moment. Can I make a 'messages' link in the bottom of the screen along with my other links there so people can access the appoxee information? - I hope I understood your question correctly. I believe you want to open the Appoxee inbox from a place other than the button on the top bar. You can add the action of opening Appoxee inbox using this method: [[AppoxeeManager sharedManager] show]; Create any button you want and add this action to it. If this didn't answer your question, please clarify what you need exactly. You can always mail us directly to [email protected] -Appoxee support
