Streaming MP3 audio

I have a streaming mp3 audio feed link that I need to incorporate into my iOS/Android app... Looking over the features, I'm not seeing how I can accomplish this easily. I've tried creating a link form HTML without any luck as well as a Custom URL link. Am I missing something or am I looking at developing a custom plugin for this?

I'm a bit new to the whole app development field. When you say, "Launch Native App screen/plugin", what exactly are you referring to?

In Buzztouch you create screens & actions for the app. A menu is a screen created using the menu (button or list) plugin. Read MySkylla's Guide to Buzztouch www.myskylla.wordpress.com Fred

I appreciate your help... After reviewing the tutorials again, I decided to build a new app using BTv1.5... I've tried the streaming audio button, URL, HTML/Text (with custom link)... and nothing seems to work... I'm looking for the nearest wall to bang my head against.

Audio is a huge issue on 1.5 and like Fred says the only way to do it is via 2.0 and the native app screen. BT is really missing out on this as I feel AUDIO is a huge part of applications. I am giving it time though. I am hoping now that the website is up that they will finish some of the screens.

It works for Android. My Android app works using that screen. Try another stream. Send me the link and I'll try it. Unfortunately it'll be tomorrow. Fred

Fred, 1) Thank you for your comments... i really appreciate them 2) I tried that and it comes up with "unknown file"... when i put (http://ic2.nwrnetwork.com/calvarynetmp3) in my android browser (separate from the app) it plays on the native player fine... i can't figure out why this isn't working within the app.

Ok... So I've tried everything under the sun with regards to this and it simply doesn't work... Logically it should open an external html window which would then launch the native android/iphone music app... no dice... i'm pretty much bald now from pulling all my hair out.
