I am willing to give login details to anyone who can have a look at it. Have tried editing bt_appDownload_AJAX.php but found the @ was already there as some had advised to put it in, tried deleting it still not working. I wouldn't know where to start with system policy. My website is hosted by one.com if that helps.

''Oops, a PHP error was trapped. File: /customers/9/4/c/kittsapps.co.uk/httpd.www/BT-server/bt_v15/bt_app/bt_appDownload_AJAX.php Line: 15 Message: set_time_limit(): Cannot set time limit due to system policy'' I may be off the mark, but I think it's a setting by your hosting provider in your servers php.ini file. Try contacting your service provider with the error message. If they won't help, I believe you can comment this out in your bt_appDownload_AJAX.php file on lines 14, 15 and 16: if(!ini_get('safe_mode')){ @set_time_limit(120); } so it looks like this: //if(!ini_get('safe_mode')){ //@set_time_limit(120); //}

The @set_time_limit call is a work-around for some very VERY slow servers in internet land. It should not be needed (like @raveyd pointed out). In most cases the @ will suppress the error - not this time I guess. The self hosted package is improving by the month, this item was already added to the list ;-). We've already removed the @set_time_limit calls in the next release.

I have commented out lines 14-16 as instructed by raveyd and I'm still seeing the JSON error: "Something Went Wrong. There was a problem parsing the JSON result?" I've looked at other posts in the BT forum for this error and nothing seems to correct the error for me. I am on a LAMP stack server (confirmed with hosting provider). Any help to resolve this issue is appreciated. Thanks.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure why the previous post has shown up multiple times on this thread.

@gmc66: Did you get this figured out? I'm happy to get a look at your control panel if you provide me a temp login. If so, create a login with david @ buzztouch.com, send the password to that address. I'll get a look and see what I can find.

David: That was the problem. I had uploaded a PNG. I went back and uploaded a new JPG file and BINGO! problem solved. I'm assuming it is OK for me to leave lines 14-16 commented out of the bt_appDownload_AJAX.php file. If not, please let me know and I will restore the file to its original state. Thanks!
