Blackberry App Approved

I just received an email stating that my Blackberry app I submitted was approved. I used the Eclipse plugin to convert my Android apk. It is called MTI Irrigation. It is an app I built to show our catalog, videos, etc. I just Posted it for sale, so it may take a few hours to become visible. How long has it taken others to see their app once posted? The funny thing is I have no idea how this thing looks on the Playbook. The Sim was a joke and would never launch correctly for me. It was a BT 1.4 version app. If anyone has a Playbook and would be willing to download it (its Free) and send me some screen shots that would be cool. This app is now available on Android, Amazon, BB, and IOS (different version) Thanks, Jim

nice. submitting mine today, just got the vendor approval. i've checked it out on the playbook simulator - looks pretty identical to the Android version of my app - except it doesn;t seem to like the menu header i used. i gave up tinkering with it for now - i'm thinking the device doesn't have the screen size as most other smartphones - so why subject users to images. just give them the menu, they probably don;t need to see my menu header. i found some other simulators here: http://us.blackberry.com/developers/resources/simulators.jsp but they all work under WINDOWS only. if i can figure out how to export my ported version as .cod this document seems to show you how to run it on those phone simulators... http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800792/801083/How_To_-_Run_an_application_in_the_BlackBerry_Device_Simulator.html?nodeid=800889&vernum=0

I was thinking of changing the code to scale the image as a % to see how that works, but I wanted to see how it looked on an actual device first. Thanks for the link to the other sims, I might have to give them a try.

I had mine approved as well. It was pretty easy. I found out the easiest was to just change the logo size and use the online system to get the bar file. I believe mine was live within 24 hours. I haven't seen it on a Playbook yet. They said mine shipped to me today. I did not like the simulator. Very slow and not user friendly.

Thanks javooooo, that would be great! I missed out on the offer,so no Playbook for me. (didn't register in time) I didn't think I would submit anything, but then got a bit of free time and sent one off.

My app took about a month to be approved. No changes were required, I didn't think it was too complicated. haha. But after putting up for sale it only took 10 mins to show up.
