Platforms Available?`

I know that we can submit our apps to Apple app store, Android Market, and Blackberry store. Can we send it anywhere else? (For Free) With eclipse program software sdk plugins? If anyone has a clue, please share with me. Thanks

Is there any market that is well known like android market, apple app store, and so on? that is also free?

Thanks @mysps! @Raoul, a couple of big alternative marketplaces are GetJar and Mikandi. GetJar in particular is the marketplace of choice (in the UK anyway) for devices that don't have a marketplace agreement with Google. Mikandi primarily focuses on 18+ apps.

No problem. As always, there are limitations. For example, if a device doesn't have the Android Marketplace installed (or Google Play as it's now called) C2DM services don't work. C2DM is the free open source code for push notifications. I don't know if 3rd party push notification services such as urban airship use c2dm for their underlying code, perhaps someone here knows? It's a consideration though, if you're looking to submit to other marketplaces.

The Amazon App Store was running a promotion for a full year free to developers (normally $99). Might see if it's still going on. This is primarily for publishing Android based Kindle apps for the Fire.

Urbanairship uses c2dm (for Android Market) plus Helium for non-Android Market app or Hybrid a combo. Amazon special (1st year free) still there. Fred
