Excel Data Not Downloaded?

Hi everyone. I am trying to open an excel file in my app. I have copied it into my BT docs folder but when I try to run in my app it says "Data for this screen has not been downloaded. Please check your internet connection" Any ideas? Thanks Darren

Hi Darren, You probably need to add your doc to your Xcode project as well. Here's a step-by-step guide how: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Adding_Files_To_A_Project_v1.0.pdf Make sure you don't have any spaces in your filename...that just messes things up! Also, if this is for Android, you'll need an additional app on your device or in your emulator to actually view the file. Android doesn't have native Excel viewing capability like iOS does. Mark

Is the app running in the simulator or on your phone? If on your phone, you'll need to recompile and upload a new version in order to have the file be part of the app. If in your simulator, try doing a Product...Clean, then running again, just to make sure all the linkage is there. And make sure you've specified a local file name in the config page for that screen, and not a URL. Mark
