My first app went live yesterday and in the first 24 hours I had 841 downloads globally! I wasn't expecting anything like this I was expecting about 10 ( if I was lucky!) and half of them were friends and family lol. Today it's at 1,371! Is this because people just do a search on new apps and download them just because they are free to check them out? Have others received similar download figures when releasing their apps? It's only a gallery app :s Might send an update to the AppStore with some iAds on it! Do updates take along to review as original uploads? My first app has gotten 323 downloads over about 2 weeks, but it is in a niche area in that it is a guide for adult leaders of Boy Scouts. I think you are crazy to NOT do some ads....monitize that sucker asap. Anything worth doing is worth doing for a couple of bucks...way to go Bonzo! Comments GOOD FOR YOU!!! If you removed the Config Data URL, then you will need to make your changes, update your code in xCode, and resubmit to Apple.
