Page Title

I can't believe that I can not find where to change the page title on the bt server. It currently is "buzztouch server 2.0" I have searched every file with different source code text. It is funny LOL. Can someone please tell me where to change the page title on the bt server index Thanks

I can help you out on the logo and the words at the bottom of the log in page but I am talking about what is in the page title that the spiders read. The tab at the top contains the page title. This is the simplest thing on any web site, but I don't know how David is putting it there. I have done find and replace in Dreamweaver for multiple search queries but the only thing I found was not the title text but line 54 on sone php page but not the index. The source code is<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en" > <head> <title>buzztouch Server 2.0</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <meta name="Keywords" content="buzztouch Server 2.0" /> "buzztouch server 2.0" in between the <title> tags is what I want to change but I can't find it on the index page. The following will fix your issue as you can see an example on my site http://bodaciousmedia.com/BT-server The logo.png file and the favicon.png are located in BT-server/files/theme After you install the the server you must download the theme folder before the files will show up. At least that was my experience. Who knows maybe they got generated on install. Create your new png images and name them the same as the current images "after of course deleting the original images" and then upload them to the server. You will notice the bottom right of the link I sent you. I inserted my name and company name to complete the new skin. you will find this code on BT-server/includes/class.Page.php code line 243

OK trenz85 I found the answer and of course David made it simple to change the page title. log in to BT-server and click on admin then select "web page meta data defaults" then change the title and keywords for the search engines

I inquired about that but got no response. I think it is probably more of a headache than it is worth. I decided no body even understands anything that is offered here so why care about the url. That is just my personal conclusion. If it effected my clients it would be important but they have no clue as to a link verses whatever. In the scheme of things, no big deal. If you can get a client for the BT server you should tell them "if they ask" it stands for "Breath Taking" apps. LOL LOL

I charge $250 for the apps. I give them a login on the BT server and if they want they can change their app whenever after I build it and upload them google. I am going to try selling a yearly fee to people starting this week for the control panel

#FFFFFF or whatever color. just change a color and upload the file to see what you changed. Just make sure you keep the original color in a file so you can change it back. The welcome color bar is one of the options located /* background colors */ line 54-64 and the login is way down at line 255

I am currently finishing up my promotion and am adding pricing points and page content. I build web sites and apps for realtors. Maybe you would like to offer my websites to your customers and add a fee on top of what I am going to charge. I will do my own app work but take a look and see if my web sites interest you

Just to let u know ive managed to to change it all how i want it well except the login screen i want the writing white so it looks right but i cant find it and im tired lol and i just threw in a test logo for now. But i did manage to specify the location in the URL. rename the folder to what u want before u upload it to say something like (BodaciousApps) Follow all the instructions and when it comes to setting the URL and the DB name etc jsut simply put www.bodaciousmedia.com/bodaciousapps an hey presto it lands you right on the page Anyway heres a look at mine let me know what you think if u know the line of the code i need to change for the email and pword text id be grateful aswell mate Cheers Chris www.cloud-9-creations.com/cloud9apps/

I like your changes to your sever look. It is way cool how buzz touch created this. I am going to start working with plugins to see if I can modify the code to pull directly from a data base. Do you have any experience with this? Apple has a big problem with apps that simply point to a web site. Drop me a line at my email address and we can stay in touch. thank you for telling how to change my folder name, that is very cool. Are you in England? I see Manchester on your picture. My email address is [email protected] Joe

yeah thanks mate i just need to change some more of the wriitng once i figure out where it is a bit complicated for me ive never done any coding before in my life. As i said being so new to this i think your attempts to edit the the plugin codes are a tad beyond me and id never dare touch em unless i fully thought i could pull it off, Yh im in sunny old england i think the picture is brooklyn or manhattan so can be confusing. And your welcome about the folder info i remember you saying you did ask about it and i do tthink it looks more professional to direct clients too Chris !
