Deleting Xcode project

Any guidance on how to delete xcode project and all its references. I deleted project via organizer and thought this would remove all references. Went to buzz download, ran the BT xcode.proj so I could add images step by step, but although none where shown if the xcode file or in the BT files they were not allowed to be inserted into xcode files as it claimed file already existed.

I had this happen, and I right clicked on one of the project files in xCode and said "open in finder". And in my case, the files were actually still there. Once I deleted them, xCode let me copy them in to the project again. I think this has something to do with "Delete", vs "Delete only references", but not 100% sure. Another solution I tried was to use xCode's "add new files" menu, and added the files (which were bold in finder) and then delete them properly from xCode. (I hope some small percentage of the above made sense, lol)

Thanks Stobe an Raoul. I got stuck on the delete reference rather than references. All sorted now I clicked empty trash which also helped alarmingly it deleted 124,000 files ?? I hope this is a legacy from snow leopard

Happened to me too, just after upgrading to Lion. Freaked me out. I went checking to see if important files where missing. All was ok so reckon it was the upgrading process. Good luck for Monday.

Thanks Paddy, I am really looking forward to that work environment and just getting me teeth into a project and feeling useful. Will continue on apps with each spare moment. This is where my heart is, but enough spare space to do a 9-5 and enjoy that too.
