Text keeps disapearing

Hi All, When I make a Custom HTML/Text, sometimes the text totally disappears off of the screen, and I have to re-type it. Thanks, Jake

Hi Jake, Like right in the middle of typing it? After reloading the page? Could you be a bit more clear?

Strange. I just checked out the Custom HTML/Text editor on a test app I use and it saved fine. Were you using it in source mode? Perhaps if we can't figure this out you could try using an HTML Document plugin referencing an HTML file embedded in your app?

I had copied some source code, then went out of the source editor, and then I removed all of the text in it and then clicked save. It saves and then I try to edit it a while later, and it is all gone, source and everything.

I've had the same problem for the last two days with 2.1.6 for Android (self-hosted). If you save text in the HTML/text plugin, it's fine. As soon as you update anything else and click save in the Screen/Actions section, (something within "Document Behavior" for instance), the HTML file with the original text gets changed back to a zero file size (hence it's erased). I've watched in real time via FTP as the /files/applications/documents/CustomHTML_xxxxx.html /documents folder gets modified back to a zero file size, effectively erasing your original document. I guess you are not allowed to change the attributes of the page behavior after you've entered the text.

That is an interesting thing. I believe with the old website you could. It must be a bug.

OK so apparently this isn't a new issue. http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?fid=C4AFB253E5FF2F25BE37F83 I'll remind David to take a peek at it. He's out of town on a business tip right now so it might be a day or two. In the meantime - According to the thread linked above if you save the changes to your advanced settings and then re-save the HTML in the editor, apparently everything works.
