Android App Store

Is there a guide on how to get your app on the Android market? I've downloaded it into Eclipse and it works in the simulation. Do I have to do anything to the app in eclipse before I send it out?

Yes there's a lot you need to do and learn before you place the app on the market. MySkylla's Guide to Buzztouch covers most of what you need. It'll be well worth your time to look around it. Www.myskylla.wordpress.com Fred Pay close attention to: The Android Process And Publishing your app Use the INDEX button.

Hi MadMaxwell, Hello from Oro Valley! Here's a document that discusses release keys. It's a step-by-step document: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Signing_Android_Apps_v1.0.pdf And here's another step-by-step guide to actually compiling your app: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Compiling_Your_Android_Application_v1.0.pdf After all that is done, and you have a signed .apk file, you need to head over to Google Play, sign up for a developer account, and submit your app. The instructions on how to do that are pretty decent on the site itself. Let us know if you have any other questions! Mark

I told the wife last night I was so glad the season is over. Didn't think I can take much more. Even with the best class coming next year, we are still in trouble.
