Answer in forum disappeared...again..

I THINK what I need to ask is about what version my app is. It is 1.4, thus the Google Map version is not working. When I try to follow the direction here http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Obtaining_a_Google_Maps_API_Key_v1.0.pdf to figure out my MD5 Fingerprint of your Signing Certificate, my command prompt window doesn't even recognize the initial step ('keytool'). So, I'm stuck. I either need help getting that information out of my app to fix the map (using a Windows 7 machine, if that matters) OR advice on how to make my app an updated version, which I assume would fix the issue itself? I posted before because my posted feedback had disappeared....and it's happened a second time now. Here's the info I received on the recent one, if it helps... I have a Google Maps How-To that might help you. www.myskylla.wordpress.com I would suggest you consider using BTv2.0 but you should first read about the differences so you can make a wise choice. My guide will help you with your decision. Fred

Several ways: Sign up to: Use Buzztouch's Server (go to your account page) Install BTv2.0 on your own server. Use someone's server running BTv2.0 Fred

Fred, I think since I'm a lowly teacher the odds of them letting me use district server space is slim to none.... I'd like to host on BuzzTouch but I don't see where this is an option. Thanks for your patience...any chance you'd tell me what to click to get there?

I'm dense. I've read all that and still just don't see any option that allows me to get to the 2.0 BuzzTouch hosted version. It simply shows me the BuzzTouch U stuff, whicn doesn't currently work, and the only other options are..
