Though Buzztouch has never gone down on myself for long, by using 2.0, your uptime is not dependent on someone else's server. Since you host it, there is an obvious upfront cost to having a webserver. You can get web hosting that will work for as little as $5 bucks a month. The second piece is that 2.0 is built with plugins in mind. I have a feeling down the road you will see the community hopefully producing and updating plugins, rather then relying on just the Buzztouch staff.
