Self hosted, incomplete option screen in plugin

Hi guys, I need assistance with some issues on my self-hosted control panel. I recently upgraded to v3.0.0 (hosted on GoDaddy) and there was no issue on installation. What is happening is that sometimes I create a new screen, open this screen on my CP and only some options show up. In this example I have created a screen using the iBeacons plugin and only the nav and background options are displayed. https://www.dropbox.com/s/04gvju5p62u9snm/Screen%20Shot%202014-05-19%20at%2012.15.44.png This is not the only plugin, I have seen it in other plugins too. Also at times (not all the times) when I try to open a screen I get the folowing error message: [an error occurred while processing this directive] All my plugins are up to date. This is really annoying and paying clients depend on this control panel. Has anybody got any idea as to what is happening? Thanks for the pointers, Farcat

Could it be that the version I am using is in fact not the latest one?

Your installation i'm sure is fine. Some plugins don't have other options and anything that you need to edit are customizable via xib. In the case of iBeacon it says: This code was ported from the project "iBeacon Demo" and turned into a BT plugin package. You are paying for the time and effort it took me to port and convert this code to the latest BT standards, the created connections (if any) to the Control Panel, and the updates to make this work on the latest iOS devices and software. I don't have this plugin but based on the info there doesn't seem to be any extra control panel options other than the basic/standard that you have in your screenshot.

Thanks @mysps, looks like you are correct. I always have doubt after a new install of a BT version. Looks like it's a question for David as I can't get the plugin to work. Cheers, Farcat

Don't have this plugin either but the same happens to my control panel if I choose the screen directly from a menu I inserted the screen. Choosing the screen directly does not show these errors or in this case missing parts.

I believe I have seen this when I try to go a screen I've created from a menu on the CP . With some plugins, one of the child items for the screen only show if I open it directly, but not if I go via a menu. This started with BT 3.0. Can't remember if it still happens though.

If any of you are interested, I released a fix for the Child Items going to the wrong page. It's only 3 lines of code you need to paste into one file. http://buzztouch.me/patch-buzztouch-child-items-links-bt-2-0-plugins/

Thx Cakebit that works perfectly!! Kudos for you :-) Only thing I changed is that I used "/files/plugins" instead of "/files/plugins/" to avoid having 2 slashes // even if it works as you documented it. Thx again!

@LeonG, Awesome! I am glad it worked! The reason I left the (extra) slash in there is: It makes no difference if there are two slashes, but if a slash is omitted for any reason, you will get a 404, - "Better safe, than sorry!" :D -Cake

Cheers guys for the feedback! It's always nice when you realise you are not the only one to find a particular issue. @Cakebit, thanks for the solution, I'll get on it straight away.
