Mark (@GoNorthWest) is right, this is a great and helpful community. Read the How To's, Go through the BuzztouchU lessons and dig in with some test projects. Before you know it you'll be well into making your app. I'm particularly interested in seeing what you come up with as I have a "student athlete" myself! (She's a 12 y.o. USTA ranked tennis player).
