Hi from an App Virgin

Recently heard about this site, so thought that I would check it out as I am interested in learning about app development. I used to code up to a couple of years ago, though I haven't done anything in a while. Lots to learn, but there seems to be a great deal of help available so looking forward to the journey. Kenneth

Welcome Kenneth! Great place to learn is right here at Buzztouch :) We will be going through some changes so it will even become a bit easier to get your feet wet! Until the site is revamped start with the Buzztouch University and How To section....and also lots of youtube videos We have actually have quite a bit of members as your neighbors might want to follow especially: https://www.buzztouch.com/Kittsy http://www.buzztouch.com/Thomas%20Boyd Best of luck and look forward to your creations :) Sheri

Welcome to the gang! As Sheri mentions, I'm one of your neighbours. In actual fact, I run the Oxford meetups. I know York is way too far to travel from to get to one of my meetings, however if you're ever down south one day, then let me know. http://www.buzztouchoxford.com I wish you the best of luck

Welcome Kenneth, Start with the basics, then just go for it. Then if you get stuck ask away. That's what I did and once you get the workflow. Then explore new ideas, or better yet, visit the profiles of other members that have their apps approved so that you can get an idea of what the possibilities are for your app. Best Ed

Thanks for the kind welcomes. Thomas, I have never been to Oxford, the closest I get is North East Suffolk (still quite a distance). If I do manage to get over your way then I will try and arrange for when you have one of your meetups. They definitely sound like they are a great idea.
