Updates(xcode6,IOS8) causing navbar issues

I have a EULA that leads to a MAIN screen (button menu). At the top there is a F.A.Q. right button that leads to another screen. In 8.0, I am able to open the F.A.Q. screen as soon as the menu screen loads. In 7.1, it won't open unless I click on one of the menu buttons first and go back to MAIN Screen. Any hints, suggestions?
