Invalid Binary in Itunes

Hi, Recently i submitted my 1.0 app in iTunes for review. Apple rejected my app because My app does not include 64-bit support. So i try to fix that issue and resubmit my app with the following changes. I changed my Itune version from 1.0 into 1.1 and also i change the version in Xcode for these two files, 1. In BT_config, i changed the version 1.0 into 1.1 and 2. In BT_info.plist i changed the version 1.0 into 1.1 and build 1.0 into 1.1 and finally i fix that 64-bit issue. I clean my project and built my code. My app built successfully and run properly. So i try submit my build file form x code to iTunes. There is no issue During validation and submit my build file. I was successfully submitted my app in X code. After uploaded i went to select the build file in Itunes. My latest version was not shown in that build. So i went to see the status in pre release. It shows my latest build file as Invalid binary. Please anyone can assist me to submit my app.

As you didn't mention arm64, I thought you might want to read this http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=45A095E94004076082C4A53&command=isSearching&currentPage=1&topicTitle=64&createdBy=&repliedBy=&minViews=-1&maxViews=-1&minReplies=-1&maxReplies=-1&forumCategory= Also, you might find using 1.1 doesn't work for a version, it might need to be 2.0, but I am not sure.

Hi Alan, Thanks for your Reply. I made that changes(arm64) in Standard Architecture as well as in Valid Architecture. While running my application there is no issue and works fine in emulator. I build my app with Xcode using the product/build menu. Then i use Product / Archive to create the archive for distribution. Before distribution,i validate my app there is no issue occur during validation and it shows successfully validation message. Then i submit my application in Xcode and it shows successfully submit Message. But my latest build file was not uploaded from Xcode to itunes. Behalf of that the previous version 1.0 available by default and so i went to check in Pre Release tab it shows my latest version is Invalid Binary status.

I'm not expert, but I've had this myself. It will be something very nitpicky. It sounds to me that iTunes thinks that something about the build does not match what it expects to see for the distribution release, even though xcode has validated the project. I suggested changing the version values to 2.0 instead if 1.1, as I heard somewhere that there is a problem with 'point' releases somewhere in the process. It could be certificates need to be updated, or the bundle ID has changed. And I presume you are on a recent version of xcode?

I have no experience with an invalid binary, so I am just guessing... Have you asked Apple why the binary is invalid? Cheers! -- Smug

The precise error messages you are seeing might give us a clue.

I usually just do a Product > Archive, then head over to Organizer to submit the binary to Apple. I don't do the Product > Build. I agree with Smug...perhaps a call to Apple would help? Mark
