Old User, New Questions

I am an old user with buzz touch and I have some questions. 1. Old users of the Buzz Touch self-hosted server had unlimited app. Do they now have to pay $29.99 per month? 2. Is V1.4 available on the new self-hosted server? 3. Is there any way to increase the 50 app Limit for apps hosted on Buzz Touch website? I don't want to run my own server.

1) No, users that were grandfathered in do not have to pay the monthly fee to use get an API key for their self hosted control panel. If you don't have one (didn't create one on the old site), we can create one for you. Mention that in this thread. 2) No, not easily. v1.4 and v1.5 apps "could" work with any backend but it takes some serious skill to wire them up to the control panel package. It's easier for us to just say "they don't work" than it is trying to explain all the ins-n-outs to lots of different folks with lots of different skills sets. There are folks that have figured this out. It's a matter of having a deep understanding of the iOS / Android Project sand the Backend you setup. 3) No. If you don't want to run your own website and control panel, and need to make more than 50 apps (that's lots of apps!). You'll need to either pay us to run your own dedicated server or find somebody else running a server that wouldn't mind having your large amount of apps on their backend. Keep in mind that you can create as many apps as you want if you put their configuration data on another server. It's a matter of creating an app, then downloading it's code. Next, re-name an app then re-download it. You can do this over and over again if you want. It's a matter of convenience. Not too much fun but possible. If you have 50+ apps running, it's surprising that you wouldn't want to setup a low cost hosting account somewhere and run your own control panel? I guess this could make sense if you want to continue to run old code (v1.4 and v1.5) because of the features they have instead of waiting for new plugins to come out. It makes sense in this case. Hope this helps clarify.

Hi David, 1) Yes, I was grandfathered in. Can you please create an API key for me? 2) I love V1.4. It is super easy to use and if my customers do not pay me, then I can delete the app and it will stop working. Can I pay buzz touch to run a V1.4 dedicated server with the ability for 50+ apps? 3) What version does the self-hosted server run? 4) If I delete an app from the self-hosted server, will it stop working? Can I have this function? Thanks,

@Trendz85 We just set up an API Key in your control panel. Because you are grandfathered in there is no charge for this. A) Visit your BT control panel and update the details for your self hosted server. The self hosted link is on the left. B) Visit your self hosted control panel and update the details for your API key to match the settings you put in your BT control panel. Have fun...

@daku7, sorry I missed that. We just set up an API Key in your control panel. Follow the steps outlined in my reply above. 1) I will contact you regarding our enterprise services. 2) The self hosted server runs v2.0 3) You can delete apps from the self hosted server and they will stop working.

@selfsupport: You're all set. See the instructions above. Update the key's details in you BT control panel. Do the same in your self hosted control panel. All set.

Hi Guys, I sent an email earlier about an account for that other tour. I was sharing an account with an ex-business partner. Is it possible to be grandfathered in with my own account, the one I just opened?
