iOS app published in app store, but Info icon now says Data for this screen not downloaded...

Hi Folks, Today my iOS BT 1.5 app "Bible Spoken" was approved (woohoo!) and made live in the app store, but when installing from the app store, all works fine except when clicking on the info icon in the nav bar, it displays a message saying "Data for this screen has not been downloaded. Please check your internet connection." Clicking on the info icon should (and does if you do a manual refresh of the app) open a menu screen which has menu links to the plugins for Facebook, Twitter, Email Share, an HTML Doc, and Custom HTML. I have read some of the forum posts on this issue, but before I tinker am wondering if it is due to having a Custom HTML page on the menu list, as this has to be pulled from the internet it seems? Any idea if I can gracefully resolve this through the BT control panel. I could remove the Custom HTML item if that would resolve things. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

The problem is that the BT_config.text file in your app is older than the config data in the Buzztouch Control panel. The one (BT_config.txt file) in the app doesn't know about the new screen. When you update the app realizes that there's more current info and uses the new info, and the new info is now cached. To test this just clear the cache data in the app. You'll see the same problen next time you open the app. After that, the next time you open the app the problems won't be there. To resolve the problems for new users you need to update the config.te,xt file in your source code and published/export the updated info by creating a new .ipa or .apk and publishing an update to the appropriate App Store. It's important to understand the Online vs. Offline concept and how the config.text file and config data on the Control Panel all work together. Aha! I see this now. I downloaded the source files early on, and made changes in the control panel before publishing. Thanks very much Fred! Chris
