Hi guys, @gbakakos, what I understood of Dan's problem, it is more of a rotation issue; Small and large devices is for the difference between IPad and IPhone / IPod Touch. @Dan, I have had that problem myself, since disabling scrolling works in portrait, but becomes a real problem in Landscape. I find the simplest solution is to disable landscape, at least for "small" devices

Dan: Landscape CAN be disabled for large devices. If that parameter is not available in Buzztouch, it is however available in XCode. When you open you project, click on the parent folder (Usually your App name )located in the left panel. A page should appear in the center column, containing stuff like App name, BundleIdentifier, App Version etc... Scroll down, and you will see your app icon / Splash Screen. Above those, your have te device rotation capabilities. Disable all rotations but Portrait for IPad. Wish you the best of luck ! Anthony

I also wish for more control (options) in landscape vs. Portriat mode. It's not feasible for every situation, but HTML can be the approprite solution. I also found that a Background image is sometimes a solution. Fred

I usually us a header image with the same background color as the menu itself. I've also used a gradient to blend the edges of the header to the menu's background color.

Thank you Stobe but unfortunately, I can't do that as I have a green menu and a white header, neither of which can be changed. Cheers, Dan

No problem, Dan. I've been pretty successful with making my apps look decent with headers, so if you want to send me a screen shot of what you're working with, I'd be happy to take a look at it and perhaps offer advice.

What I have been doing is building landscape header for iPad (300x768). I design the header so that in portrait mode, the viewable 768 px is it's own standalone graphic, then in landscape mode, the remainder of the header is revealed. Does that make sense?
