Buzztouch is the way to go. Take a look at the How it works tab, very easy and very helpful. Apps Can be widely edited and many features are available.

The two most serious competitors to Buzztouch are Rhomobile and PhoneGap. There's half a dozen others contenders. What I found in Buzztouch is to ability to start without being a coder. Much more difficult in the others. If you drop down a tier or two, you'll find several things: that you'll never own your app That you're limited in many ways Required advertising Relativly large startup and continuing costs Limited modification of the app Limitations on publications Non-true Native app development. I think Buzztouch is the best of all possible, but everyone here will say the same or we'd be somewhere else. So come on in the water's fine. Fred

Just an afterthought. The Plugins and future Plugins will enhance Buzztouch in ways even Buzztouch has not imagined, and they have a very big view. So in the long run (and near term) they will definately be your partner. Fred

Personnally, I had been wanting an app without learning how to code in Obj-C because I spend alot of time offline without a computer. I wanted to be able to access information on my app. Therefore, after having failed XCode, I looked for alternatives. I tried out several different softwares, and by experience, Buzztouch is the best in allying both simplicity and great depth. Perfect for all levels I thank all of Buzz Gang yet again for what they have enabled me to achieve, and cant wait to be able to donate!

buzztouch is the best. In the past, I have used AppMakr, and they pre-package the apps and do not use Apple's API's. I did not know this, but the app was bought on an ARMv6 device, it would crash. I could not set the base iOS SDK that I wanted to allow it to be installed on so I had to submit an update and hope that it would not crash. When iOS 5.0 was announced, it took AppMakr way too long to update it, some apps would crash, some would load but be missing parts of the GUI. Overall, buzztouch is the way to go in my mind.
