Patience is a virtue

Hi all. I've been gone for a week and I came back today to find a sweet shiny new Buzztouch site, looks good eh? I'm excited, sure you are as well. There is not a person on here has paid a penny to use the site, not a single penny or folding dollar and it seems we have all been grandfathered in on a free model, at least in most respects anyway. Wow, just wow! We may come across a few bugs, a few wee issues, little glitches here and there, let's respect the few that have given so much to so many. Not sure if everyone realises what went on here, BT don't sing their own praises. They have just performed a MAJOR undertaking, changing hosts, migrating servers, both SQL and web on multiple boxes with 10's if not 100's of thousands of records and have set us up with a site of which the likes does not exist. If you come across issues, post them in the correct forum topic which I am sure is being monitored closely. Can you see the good things that are ahead? Especially for all us early adopters on here that made friends, asked for help and posted at the wee hours of the morning. Who can all say they have breathed a sigh of relief when David, GoNorthwest, MGoBlue or Stephen replied at a strange hour, many, if not most of us I'd wager. Show me another site that has this community, show me another site that makes devs out of luddites and smart coders alike, show me a site that free users get one to one help from industry vets. You can't can you? We all asked for this so lets work together, let us not gripe, moan or say "HELP ME NOW, THIS DOESN'T WORK' Patience is a virtue. Yir pal MacApple, who thinks the new BT is swell and has bought a few nice single malts on the strength of the old one.

Couldn't have said it any better MacApple. Big thanks to the team at Buzztouch and the community as a whole. I can't believe the strides that have been made in just a year.

I don't know of any other software company that offers this kind of support to idiots like myself that are simply lost but trying, and make us feel like we can really achieve something special with a minute amount of patience and hard work on our part. And with the new tools you are going to "teach" us how to use and develop with little monetary input is simply amazing.

@Macapple - wow you got your way with words. Love to read you post and your thoughts on the journey we have made here! I agree with every sentence and even if you gave me a hundred years I could not have expressed myself better. Thanks for putting words on what I think most of us feel towards BT and the crew. Most respectfully /Stefan
