Compiling Issue

I've re-downloaded the source code to my application and it now throws a compiling error that it didn't before. I still have both versions of my source code, and the one I downloaded last week builds and runs fine - the one I downloaded today does not. I get the following Error messages: error: ..../waiverapplication_v15_iOS/BT_Objects/TwitterOAuth/../README.txt: No such file or directory And Verify exit code of build task 'CpResource README.txt' With a warning message of : [WARN]Warning: Multiple build commands for output file ......./waiverapplication/Build/Products/Debug-iphonesimulator/waiverapplication.app/README.txt Something I'm missing? Do I have a wrong target device somewhere?

Have you canceled all builds, and cleaned the project? This may resolve your issue. If the computer is told multiple times to compile an app at the same time, it could have problems. Are you making a development build or a distribution build?

I am also having the same issue, all my old projects build fine, but the projects I have created today display the same error message in the above post; relieved to know its not just me, lets hope this can be resolved.

I have ran clean on it as well - no luck. I've cancelled all builds and re-tried. I've tried both development and distribution builds.

Yes. I'm just trying to figure it out. Looks like an issue with the new release and I'm sure the guys are way busy putting out fires. I'll just wait a few days.

Each time after it fails I've tried to change the ios to different verions - but I've always tried to run it right after downloading.

Ok. Have you tried to make another app? A test app that only has a few screens that can act as an experiment to see if compiling it works. If this does not work, try reinstalling XCode. When did you install XCode?

I've got native apps I've built that work just fine so I know it's not xcode, I have previous versions of this buzztouch app that work just fine, so old buzztouch apps are compiling fine, I hadn't changed the code in buzztouch, or updated anything in xcode or my machine, the newest download just doesn't work. I'll try making a new app in buzztouch to see if I get any different result.

Remove all the duplicated references in xcode. It works for me. app target -> build phases -> copy bundle resources

Hi, I'm still having the same issues, not sure what version of Xcode you are using but I'm not sure what you mean by 'remove all duplicate references' + I don't appear to see the option: > Build Phases >Copy Bundle Resources; confused!

Once this same issue was happening to me, and I just reinstalled XCode. It worked fine, then I had other computer problems, brought my MBP into Apple and they fixed it.

I had this problem. I drilled down in Xcode and I found the offending file name, highlighted red. As it was just a readme.txt file, I deleted it in the Xcode project as I thought it wasn't needed. This seemed to do the trick for me at least.
