Help after buyd subscription; API Key

Hy all i've just buyd a subscription, so that we can continue use our selfhosted server. There was a problem with the api (apps couldnt get build anymore). After i checked our api-code, the system told me, that he could not verify the api, and that i've to make a new one over a subcription. well, we've done that. but we've not get an email after this. what can we do to fasten the process? we need to go forward with our work. regards roberto

Hi: We are having issues with our email server (since yesterday) and have fallen very very behind in lots of inquiries. We are happy to look into your issue but we need to know who you are. Because you don't have a screen name in your forum post we can't guess. Do this: a) Visit your profile and enter a screen name so it shows in the forum b) Re-post so we know you did this. This will help us identify you. We'll send you and email with instructions on how to get your API key. Thank you!

Hy, Ok now i think my screenname is back..? it's strange, i had allready an account with screen-name and all. but i had to register me new here on the new page...

MWS: OK, you should be good to go. a) Go your control panel and find your API Keys b) Click the Key in the list (this was not there last night, we created a key for you) c) Update the details for the key to match your self hosted server d) Pick a new API Key Secret e) Enter these details in your self hosted panel Should be good to go.

Hy David Thanks for the info and the help... but now there is the next one. the system tells me, that the entered ip-adress is aready in use: «The Server IP Address or Application URL you entered cannot be used because one of them already exists in our database (duplicates are not allowed). Tip: If your Application URL contains 127.0.0.1 or "localhost" this won't work.» The same things came with the Nickname, but there i simply take a new one. but the IP-Adress cant be changed, since its the IP from our webserver...? Roberto

Hi again.... If you're using 127.0.0.1 it won't work, you're right. The IP address for the self hosted panel needs to be public. 127.0.0.1 isn't available on the internet. Your package needs to communicate with our backend and a public IP is necessary to do this. Hmm... You can easily change the IP to anything you want in the control panel, it won't hurt anything. But, I'm afraid it won't allow you to download any projects using your self hosted software if the IP address isn't available publicly. Experiment maybe?

Im not using the localhost. Im using our public ipadress. But it seems that this ip is already in using...

OK. The screen in your buzztouch account has changed a bit this afternoon, evening. The IP address should be accepted now. You'll notice some other changes to help make it easier to undertand too :-) Re visit your account screen and see if you can update it. Bet it works.
