Use this on a custom HTML screen http://code.google.com/p/gcalview/ Then you can use google calendar to populate it.

WOW, thanks Zackamo i've just been diggin into Calendar/iOS and wanted some Gogle Calendar integration. that might save a ton of work. tho i suspect to get it approved by Apple they would liek to see me use the native iOS calendar. but this will easily take care of the Android side.....

I have it in an app I am still developing. It works great in android. Will be curious to hear how it looks in iphone, as I don't normally prototype much for iphone (don't own one). I really don't think Apple will frown upon this, as it really is just a web page. Its next to impossible to know its pulling data from google if I remember correctly. One thing to mention, that I didn't before,Chacka7 and ATRAIN53 is that to get this to work, I think I had to do an HTML doc. You CAN'T use custom HTML, because that WYSIWYG editor freaks out with the javascript you dumb in it. You could also build the page, upload it to a server and use custom URL. Just an FYI

I took a look at this and can't figure out where to get started with the code. I see there is a css page and a js page in the download, but there is no real integration/installation instructions. Did you just paste the js into the html page and use the css as you would for a normal css for an html page. Also where do you point to your calendar in the script? Sorry for the questions (if they are obvious to developers). I'm just trying to hack my way into this.

I use the inline version, as I am unsure if you can use a js file outside of the html inside an app, and well it worked. If you get beyond all the javascript for the html file and look in the body, you'll see them call three feeds. You replace these feeds with your own, then party. Again, you can't use this in a custom html / text screen, as the editor rips up the code. You must save the html file and manually place in your project, or upload it somewhere and use custom URL.

Anyone know the best BT feature to use to create something like this? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/52348027/Screen%20Shot%202012-03-12%20at%2023.40.41.jpg So more a kind of list of calendar events than an actual calendar..

Above my pay grade.. But in theory I would think someone could modify the code we have (js file) into that. The java is there.. Wayyyyy above my expertise though. (at least for now) If I was going to tackle it, I would look compare the menu process and see how I could inject the data we have. More of an android person, so if I was to do it I would start there. You could also investigate xml to items like that. Just some things to search

Way above my knowledge, but you could do it all with a database with fields you update with new dates/events, and then call the data with php and wrapp the info in CSS specific to mobile devices, tablets and/or web browsers. That way if you want to display the same info over different devices and only write the script once. On an easier note I think that you could use the gcalciew with some tweaking as Zackamo talked.

@Zackamo. I have been trying to get the gcalview working, but to no avail. I haven't even tried to get it going in a BT project yet (just using the html to test out the script). When I use the inline or example script in the package it goes to a screen in my browser that says "Loading Events". The loading bar gets about half way to the end and it stops and that is were the screen stays. I tried to change the feed to a newer calendar (Google's US holiday calendar), and get the same thing. I've even tried it using multiple browers to see if it was a css problem or something. Did you have this same problem? I put the css, js, and html files on my server and tried it that way, but it still wouldn't go from there either. Any thoughts? Could you paste the inline code (minus your calendars if you like) that worked for you? Thank you
