It appears those issues have not been decided or set in stone. For small users I don't expect you'll be paying. Stay tuned. Fred

Adding myself to the thread

treading in the same waters as well..... i was actually waiting for BT to get the new site rolled out and see what kind of upgrades/changes there were to the BT Server before i copied my apps and moved my published apps over to it. Have a few apps/ideas for my server i want to keep working on. I've just been playing with it to get familiar before i put live apps on it. I was looking at some of PSMDannys mods that are just fantastic. The BT guys have been more than fair so i'm pretty hopeful that continues here.

Looks like we've been allocated 100 API calls. Does anyone know how extra calls cost? Thanks, // J

It my understanding that that is where the fee comes in if you go over the 100 calls you have to pay. not sure how many apps you create and how often you download your source code but 100 seems like a lot, that is if I understand this correctly. Magnus

Mag37, that is correct. I'm just wondering what the fees are when you go over 100 calls. Considering I'm already on 37 in about a week, it might be tight :S

Hey folks,Everyone was given a Developer account at no cost. We will not charge you for this - ever. It has no expiration date because of your loyalty. Some made it by one single day! LOL. It's a bit confusing, we know. We'll work out a better way to communicate this so you don't have to worry. The bottom line is that we DO NOT want users that registered before March 8th 2012 to have to pay for upgrades, API Keys, etc. This means that some users are already over their "maximums" - this is OK, we're working it out with each one of them as needed. Nobodies apps will be removed and nobodies accounts will be limited if they registered before 3/8/12

Thanks for the update Stephen. That was very helpful and answers the questions I've been looking for. It's also a huge relief given the work I've put into the apps that exceeded some of the limits.

If you already had an API key it is free for 100 api calls.

what is 1 API call? If a users starts an app on their Iphone and goes to the first menu, is this 1 api call? and then goes to the second menu then it is 2 API calls?

You use up an API call when you package and download the source code from your panel, or you validate your api settings. A user viewing your app does not use upp your API allowance.
