Uploaded Images now showing in BT Server 2.0.

This happens for Custom Text, HTML. src=image.jpg Images are uploaded using the plugin loader. They are in the application images folder. They render as a red x in the editor. Don't display in simulator. Any thoughts? <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC -//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd> <html> <head> <title>~</title> <meta content=text/html; charset=UTF-8 http-equiv=Content-Type /> <meta content=width=device-width; initial-scale=1.0; maximum-scale=2.0; user-scalable=1; name=viewport /> <style type=text/css> html{background-color:transparent;height:100%;width:100%;} body{background-color:transparent;font-size:11pt;font-family:helvetica;} img{border:0px;} </style> </head> <body> <p>  </p> <p> <img src=Dock.jpg width=200 /></p> <p>  </p> </body> </html>

Did you copy the images into your BT_images folder in xcode?

You (probably) have two issues. First, the Custom HTML / Text (Android) Plugin has a bug and is currently under de-bugging review by a few users. This was determined on Thursday (?) so check out the posts about that. Use my search engine to find it if you don't see the posts on the Forum Second, You can't use Upper case letter in your Eclipse Image names. Use image.png or image.jpg For more details read my Guide to Buzztouch: www.myskylla.wordpress.com (Forgot to ask if you're iOS or Android. Plus, do you know if the plugin works with iOS?) Fred

Posted: Sat, Feb. 18 2012 01:29 PM (pst) Did you copy the images into your BT_images folder in xcode? No.. I did not think the custom server worked that way. The plugin installs them in an image folder within the application. It is confusing because the hosted and buztouch.com versions work differently.

iOS The same issue exists with the Image Gallery plugin. May be a related issue.

Regarding uploading, in Eclipse you still need to add the images to the project. The HTML images go in BT_Docs in Android. I posted in the Forum about this a few days ago. Don't remember if I've posted in my guide or not. In iOS the images are handled differently. You should read it. Fred

I have an installed BTv2.0 Android app with a functioning Gallery image that I'm reviewing. Works fine. Didn't think there are issues with the Gallery Plugin. Fred

BT Server does not include your images in the downloaded source code. This is the same as BT 1.5. You still need to copy the images for your project into the BT_images folder in Xcode.

So I finally got them to work by placing them in BT_Docs. This raises an interesting question. The plugin uploads images to the application images folder. Why? Is this where they should go in a future release? If they have to go in your Mac BT_Docs folder, how do they get released? I am hoping that the application/images folder is the plan so that we can update applications from the bt server. Jon

@Jon T, that's an interesting question, as I find it somewhat redundant. Fred Actually I'm going to try (Android) button images without uploading, just place into BT_drawable set icon name and see if it works. Will try same for Gallery. Will post results later.
