Help with compiling in Eclipse and Xcode

Hi. In Eclipse I got the Android SDK and I got all of that installed. But when I open Eclipse it doesn't show the android option to open and compile the app with. And in Xcode I have no idea how to compile. I can't find a video explaining it anywhere. Im having so much trouble with all this is there anyway someone could compile my app for me in iOS and Android?

Hi, Here's a document that shows you exactly how, step-by-step, to install and configure your Eclipse environment: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Setting_Up_Your_Android_Development_Environment_v1.3.pdf And this one shows you, step-by-step, how to compile your Android app: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Compiling_Your_Android_Application_v1.0.pdf And this one shows you everything you need, for iOS and Android, to get started developing your apps: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Things_You_Need_Before_You_Start_Developing_Apps_v1.0.pdf Hope this helps! Mark

Not too much difference for Mac. Here's a link that helps fill in some of the blanks: http://www.talkandroid.com/guides/developer/android-sdk-install-guide/ One major bonus is that you don't have to install Java, because it's already there for the Mac! Mark

It looks like there are updates but it says Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency.

Have you tried, in Eclipse, to go to Help...Check for Updates? Then select everything they offer? Mark

In my guide I recommend you initially have someone compile your app. Plus I offer to do so. Read Buzztouch for Beginners for details. Fred

@Fred @ mySkylla.com Your link is broken. http://myskylla.wordpress.com/2012/01/23/buzztouch-for-beginners/ That works then when you go down the page there is a link that says Have someone compile the app for you. and that link is broken.
