Hi! Did you create the Android Virtual Device per the instructions? If so, can you show us the output from the Console panel when you try and run your app? That'll show us better what's happening. Thanks! Mark

MightyFlaMe, if you have an Android Device, I would skip that for now. You'll understand later, plus It'll be easier to solve VD issues later. You'll need to setup the VD eventually, but starting out it's simply a problem best avoided. Been there, done that. Fred

Thanks for the instant replies. My app is not shown on the emulator, like the app icon is not shown and i did not try it on my android device yet. My version of the buzz touch app is 1.4.

Give your device a try. Most user are much happier away from the VD. It's certainly very useful, just not the best place to start. Fred

Can you past the output from the Console panel and let us know what's happening? Here is a doc that details debug info : http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Problem_Reporting_and_Basic_Debug_v1.0.pdf Thanks, Mark

Well, unless you are fortunate enough to have an Android device, the AVD is the ONLY place to start! The same would be true of iPhone, and people who do or don't have them. Mark

Hi @MightyFlaMe, I'm suspecting there is more in the console that you have not pasted? The WARNING, I believe, indicates that it cannot start GPS, but that should not prevent your app from starting. Is there more output after that? One thing to check is that sometimes the emulator launches, but not the program itself. You actually need to go into the apps screen on the emulator, and launch the program from there. Check out this link for a bit more info: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8499813/android-emulator-loads-but-not-the-program Would love to see ALL the output from the console to better help! Mark
