BT Server- refresh all data doesnt work

I get spinning wheel then a text box: Somethings not right There was a problem loading the apps configuration data. See the LogCat (console) output in Eclipse. What causes this error? If I delete the app off the phone and re-install the changes are there, but if I refresh I do not get the changes like in 1.5

Have a look at the Data URL property by reviewing the apps configuration data. Copy the URL from the config data and paste it in a browser window - does the data load? It should. If it doesn't, you'll need to sleuth out why it's not.

I just tried the refresh on the emulator and it works fine. It doesn't on my Droid X. Data URL opens fine in the browser.

Just Refreshed! I turned the wifi on and did the refresh and it refreshed ok! So, for some reason it would not on 3G connection. Bug?

Strange for sure. There isn't anything you or we can do as developers to force or control 3G or WiFi. In other words, the 'interface' to the internet is available or not. You can of course determine the type of connection by you can't 'force Wifi' or 'force 3G.' You could I guess write some code that asks the user to connect to WiFi or something beforehand if you wanted.... Anyway, I don't have any idea why it wouldn't download data using the 3G network...could it be very very slow trying to download a very very large file? I've not heard of a text file (the config data) being so large as to prevent 3G from being able to download it - it's plain text after all and not a giant video :-)

I just found out something that could be a problem for the server version. Have you seen this before? My web host is hostbig.com, they block IP's that have over x amounts of hits against my site. I keep getting blocked out of my site every 2 days because of using the BT Server so much. What I found out is that the IP of my phone when using 3g was blocked because of all the requests from it to the server. So the other day when I switched to the wifi and everything was ok, was because that ip wasn't being blocked yet. My question is, do some apps trigger the spam filters, or attack stuff on some servers. How much are the apps using our servers in a day and if it is excessive, my server says they will be blocked. Or was it probably because I keep re-downloading apps to try them out. They have whitelisted the 3 ip's I use the most, but what about customers? Thanks,
