Mpv4 or mov

Since I've been having some problems with .mov files from my Canon s95 (see multiple threads about black screens) I've been wondering if converting them to mpv4 might work better. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.. Steve

Hi Steve, I'd give it a shot, since the mpv4 format is supported by Apple more than the mov format is (at least that's my impression). Plus, I think you'll get smaller file sizes, and that can only be a good thing. Mark

Mark, Thanks I'll try that because this intermittant background going black when a mov is stopped before finishing interrupted is driving me nuts. I wonder if it has anything to do with the background of a movie file being black. If I can get it to happen on simulator I'll post the debug code.
