Hi, does BT have a built in database feature. Here is what i am trying to acheive. I am building an app for a UK based poker league which works on a points basis, to the qualify for cash tournaments Depending on the number of players, depends on the number of points available i currently have it working where i have a list of 2 players, 3 players, 4 players and so on....it then displays a URL which pulls a php file i have on my webhosting that runs a query against my mysql database and then displays as a webpage. This works well but it relies on the phone users having a netowrk connections. i was just wondering if i can do this with a built in DB as the data will never change. Any guidance? Many Thanks!

Thanks for the response. it seems to be very android related however i am mainly developing for iOS. Does it still work along the same lines? Is it worth while me just sticking with how i have it currently and it seems as though it could be a lot of work?

Ah, didn't now you were iOS. Concept is the same...how are you going to gather the data, where are you going to store the data. Data collection and saving on the device is tough for most ;-) There not no built-in database methods in buzztouch, you'll have to spin your own. Most folks use HTML to create the input screens then send it to a backend script to save. It's much each to save this way (for folks that have web dev experience).
