If I were you I'd use the link in your control panel and get on v1.5 ASAP, far more powerful, slicker etc. There are a few ways to set up protected areas. v1.5 has a feature built in where you can setup users that have access to a page, other way is to have a login page that redirects to a screen once login variables have been checked. You are going to want to have a DB of sorts storing this. Still there? Get in v1.5 and play around with the login page and see what you think. Comments Dense, nice.
