You don't need to do this for the simulator. For the device, you need to... a) Register for an Apple Dev Account if you have no already. b) Create a provisioning profile in your Apple portal. c) Set the build settings to use this profile. I searched 'code signing is required' in this forum can came up with lots of the same answers.
