Im pretty new to the idea of hosting BT 2.0 on a server... but what website do you use to host it, or do you host it directly from your mac?? Thanks Jack Hoskins

Sign up for a GoDaddy account mate, they are the cheapest and most stable for your dollar. Get their base linux package and you'll be good.

Get what you pay for with free (BT being the exception) I've been with 1&1, EasyCGI, MaximumASP and for the money GoDaddy aint bad at all. Easy install for BT server with linux hosting.

GoDaddy mate. In terms of cost, ease of install and stability, go for their linux option you'll be good.

The basic hosting will do it. I'm still with EasyCGI but I work in the industry and for your hard earned dollars they are the best, even if they shoot elephants. I'd go for deluxe if you can, you may need the mysql DB's if you plan on doing some serious app development.

Should have said I used to work in the industry. Windows hosting is cheaper but linux is more solid and BT uses linux.

If you are having issues installing at 1freehosting then you may have the same issue with godaddy. You will get the same cpanel type setup. Just follow the BT install instruction. The key is that you need to ftp the BT server software to the root level of the hosting server they give you. Then after that its just execute the install script and follow the PDF instructions. My opinion....
