Rotate URL page 90 degrees

Hi All, I'm looking to rotate my embedded website 90 degrees, to landscape mode. I would like to keep the rest of the app in portrait mode. Does anyone know how to do this, and if so, can you show me? There might even be a cash bonus if someone can help :D Thanks in advance guys

I don't know if it is right. But you might check the view or settings.

Looks like you might be able to do this via the AndroidManifest.xml file. It appears you can specify orientation based on activities/views. http://w2davids.wordpress.com/android-screen-orientation-rotation-changes/ Let us know if that helps! Mark

So, maybe something like this? Replace single quotes with double (dang forum!): <activity android:name='.BT_screen_customURL' android:label='@string/app_name' android:configChanges='keyboardHidden|orientation' android:screenOrientation='landscape'> </activity> This would, in theory, force all BT_screen_customURL views (screens) to display in landscape orientation. That's the view you would use to call the URL of your website. Give it a shot and see what happens! Mark

That is certainly useful, however I'm looking at launching it for iOS first. Thanks for the tips thoough, I'll certainly use the code when I'm launching the Android version. Do you (or anyone else, for that matter) have any ideas of how to do this on iOS?

Sorry about that! You didn't mention iOS in your post, and I had Android on the brain from an earlier question. I'll do some research for you tomorrow. Mark

It has something to do with UIInterfaceOrientation.
