Screen size

I have a web page that is 780 X 1220. When I open it as a web page on Ipad, I touch, Iphone or Native Android browser, it fills the screen just right. I have it set to open as a custom url in 1.5 and when it opens, It is zoomed in to the upper left hand corner. I only get about 1/6 of the page. If I double tap, it does nothing, I can pinch it down to get it full screen or use the minus button. Other app builders I have used display the screen correctly. Unfortunately I cannot add Meta tags to the page as they are generated from a controls program. Any thoughts?

Use launch in native app and use the OS browser; you can provide the URL there, too. That way you'll get the automatic zoom/pan properties of the standard browser.

When I use the launch in native app, I get a Black screen when it loads. Just tried it again, do you have to re-compile when you do that? If I turn on the menu item to use the native browser it works fine. In 1.4 I was able to change a setting in eclipse and it used the native browser.

Tried it about ten more times, screen is all black not matter what url I put in. Isn't there a way to tell the code to use the native browser without the address bar?

I'd recommend avoiding the launch in native app option, as it will take the user out of your app. If the web page you are loading is yours, then just a couple lines of html should help, and you can even customize things a bit more using css. You can take a look at this, for example: http://eisabainyo.net/weblog/2009/06/12/making-a-website-iphone-friendly-using-css/
