You can, but it would involve, essentially, creating a button and associating the tap with the print code. Here's a fairly decent tutorial : http://bynomial.com/blog/?p=115 Mark

What a great post Jack/Mark. I can see a use for this in loads of applications, especially with the range on new printers with air print and eprint. I know if I was out trekking using a map app or guide app a little bakup print would be viable. On info apps it would be useful and I know on a quiz app that if my daughter could have printed her 100% correct reward screen to show her friends she would.

AirPrint is the answer, but the user has to have a printer set-up and configured already for it to work smoothly. Otherwise it's probably gonna prompt them to set-up a printer when you call the function. I was looking at using AirPrint to print PDF's from my app. But AirPrint is not supported on the original iPhone3 which is my testing device!

Just so you iOS Kats don't think you're having all the fun. Option 1: Use a screenshot to capture image than use one of various apps to print. Option 2: http://www.androidsim.net/2011/08/how-to-34-printing-from-android-devices.html Fred
