I just downloaded elclipse and follwed the pdf present on this site for installing it. I am doing all these at cyber cafe. Can anyone tell me which sdk should i download as there are many and all are big in size and net connection is slow here. I just need to compile them and then i can test them on my phone and submit to market. I am using BT v2.0. I even had some out of topic questions. When would the push be available for BT v2.0? Is there a direct way to add admob without playing with the code much.

If you are running Windows, then get the SDK at this link : http://dl.google.com/android/installer_r15-windows.exe It's all spelled out, with pictures even, in the document I listed above. Shows you which links to click on, which packages to download, and how to configure everything. Again...with pictures! Mark

And I assume you're talking about Android development here, and not iOS, which would require a Mac and Xcode. And, I also assume that you're not talking about the plugins associated with BT-Server 2.0. If so, you should just install them all. Mark

@gonothwest sorry for that but i meant which package(got confused with the words) as you have a lot of them instaaled as shown in your eclipse sdk list. and yes its plugins associated with BT-Server 2.0.

Gotcha! For v1.5 and v2.0 apps, you want to install the Android 2.2 (API8) package, and select Google APIs and SDK Platform (or all of them if you wish). Off to bed...good luck, and if you have any further problems, I can answer them in the morning! Mark

it worked thanks..now when i tried to add ads i got error in app with text in red box,you must have adactivity declared in androidmanifest..,though i already did that following a blog shared by david in one post. and which push notifications is best?any ideas about buzztouch server push notification,when they will be out.. thanks a lot for the help till now...
