I have had a new video app out for a month many thousands of downloads and about 5 individuals complained about no audio on iPad and it has been blowing my mind. I could not replicate the problem on my iPad2, and iTunes review passed my app fine. This may happen to some of you so I thought you might like to know how this could happen to you too. In the settings on the iPad you can choose to have the side switch either Lock Rotation or Mute If you have set to Lock Rotation, there is a little known setting when you double click your home button and slide the bottom items to the right... there will be a mute speaker icon... This is where my app customers had the audio muted and didn't know it... The opposite of this is if in your settings you have the side switch set to Mute, then that button at the bottom when you double click home will turn into a Rotation Lock icon...this may save someone else a big headache.. I have a similar problem on my app that has been downloaded by over 1000 persons which is that my audio is not working when the silent mode is on on my videos, you can move up and down the volume, but no audio, I compare to other non buzz touche app and they dont have this problem, any idea why ? I got back comments due to that, and I dont know how to handle that. tks !
