upgraded to v1.5

I created my first app with ver 1.4 , however I just realized the v1.5 is much better builder. Can I transfer my v1.4 app over to v1.5? I tried to create a new app in v1.5 but I could not name it the same. Any suggestions? After I opened v1.5 I realized I need v1.5. Please let me know what I can do . Thanks

Hi @Magic_Man, Welcome to Buzztouch! At the moment, there is no way to migrate an app from v1.4 to v1.5 without recreating it from scratch. You'll probably have to give it a slightly different name, but keep in mind that's only the 'internal' buzztouch name, and you can give it an official name the same as your old app. The method most people have used to move from v1.4 to v1.5 is to open up control panels in two browser windows, put them side by side, and essentially recreate the screens in v1.5 using the info from v1.4. A pain to be sure, but it's the only method at the moment. Keep in mind that while the iOS version of v1.5 is feature complete, there are some restrictions in the Android version...please check out the Readme to understand what is and what is not supported. Thanks! Mark

Mark, Thanks for your response and knowledge of the buzztouch system. I assumed that v1.5 asked for another name and I was screwed. Well thats good to know i still have options on this. Now I am new to Xcode and have only done this one app in v1.4, after I design the app in v1.5 and download the code do I start a new project with xcode or is there a way to integrate the v1.5 source code into my current project? Thanks again! Tony Saint Louis, Missouri

Hi Tony, You'll want to start a new project with Xcode using the files you downloaded for your v1.5 project. You're basically building a new app, so that requires a new Xcode project. Mark
