added html, plain text page and it's now my home screen...

I've done this before, and I ended up having to delete all my html, plain text screens until my home page showed up when I opened the app in the simulator. Why is this page coming up as soon as I open up my app in the simulator and not my home page?

Hi, Are you using a Home Screen layout or a Tabbed Layout? Do you have whichever one you are using correctly configured for what you want to be your Home Screen? Also...does it seem like the app is opening up to the last screen that you looked at before closing the app? Maybe there is a caching issue? iOS or Android? Mark

Hi Mark- I'm using home screen layout, and I believe it's properly configured. It's iOS. I believe the problem has to do with the naming convention I'm using. I guess you can't use the same nickname for different screens. (seems obvious, I know.) By putting a number next to the nickname, then deleting the number after the page has been created has seemed to fix the problem.

Yeah, nicknames are kinda finicky. I resorted to underscores. In general, buzztouch/Xcode/Eclipse don't seem to like spaces in filenames and such, so I try to avoid them. Glad you got it working! Mark

You should review the difference between: Screen Nickname and Nav Bar Title You can use the same Nav Bar Title multiple times if you so wish. You cannot use the same screen nickname. The user will never see the Screen Nickname The user will only see the Nav Bar Title (unless you choose the hide the Nav Bar.) The confusing part is that Buzztouch v1.5 will automatically use the Screen Nickname as the Nav Bar Title, which you can change after the screen is created. In BTv2.0 when adding a screen to a Menu you enter a Screen Nickname & a Button name. The Screen Nickname will be used as the Nav Bar Title (until you change it if you choose). Next issue: There is no 'html, plain text' screen. I suspect you're using the ''Custom HTML' text'' screen, but that's a guess on my part. Learn the difference, it'll save a world of hurt. The Forum is full of posts seeking help where the source of the problem is the BT user getting things almost correct and or confusing names. (Compiling is not downloading not matter how many times you say so, been there done that.) Fred

got it. Yes, by 'html, plain text', I meant 'Custom HTML - Text'.
