Images are fuzzy

Where would I locate the settings for image compression. I have tried high resolution (300 dpi) and (72dpi) image and they all seem to get distorted using BuzzTouch. I am assume the system is compressing the images during the compile? If anyone has any insight I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi @XactWeb, There aren't any specific image compression settings in Buzztouch. What is the size of your image (as in WxH)? If for some reason you are scaling upwards, then that would produce a fuzzy image. Here are the screen dimensions that I use for development : Common Screen Dimensions iPhone / iPod Touch: 320 x 480 (Create for 640x960,and have phone scale down) iPad: 768 x 1024 Motorola Droid: 320 x 480 HTC Desire: 320 x 480 Depending on where you are putting your images, there are sections in the Advanced Properties for a page to specify image size. Can you give us an example of a good image that goes fuzzy? Welcome to buzztouch! Mark

Mark, I made an image at 320x480 at 300 dpi and it gets heavily compressed when I compile and view on my samsung mesmerize. I am aware of the advanced properties setting. Here is the image in question. http://xactweb.com/images/nobis-splash.jpg I know the top if supposed to look scratched, etc, but the bottom part is even becoming pixelated in my app. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks for the reply.

Sweet! I was struggling a bit to figure out what the problem might be, but it's pretty obvious now! Let us know if you have any other issues. Mark
