I am receiving FORCE CLOSE when installing my 1.5 app

Can someone explain to me (in laymen terms)why I keep getting 'FORCE CLOSE after I install my 1.5 app? I mean it loaded up the first time, then when I reloaded it tells me The application MYNAME (process com.MYNAME) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again Force Close. Thanks Eric

Android or iOS? Post more details, what you've done since last time . . . Fred

I had this the other night and then I realised that I must have done something wrong in BT as all had been working fine previous days. I had made changes to the menu list on the Home Page and realised that when I made the changes, I had not updated the menu list row number so I had in BT 1,2,3,3,4,5 (i.e. I had two number 3's in the Menu List). The AVD could therefore not open the Home page because it did not know how to present the menu list. As soon as I corrected it in BT and recompiled, everything worked ok.

@dkeds66, that reminds me of when I used an o instead of an 0, same problem, easy fix. Fred

Yeah I get these when I put invalid characters by accident. It is something you did somewhere. For example, when I specified button sizes, I accidentally hit a ` when typing a 1 and cause a force close. I have had several small issues like this. Take the time and look at everything you changed.

Its painful but have realised the benefits of making only a few changes at a time, then recompiling project and checking AVD still working - saves having to trawl through hours of changes to find out what you did wrong :)
