Nooo !!!!! Application rejected, how long is in review? ( iOS )

I am a bit puzzled ... my application has been rejected for not meeting the 2.13 .... I am quite confused since this application is an audio guide to follow the exposition of a museum. And I do not understand the reason for the 2.13. My question is, went back up the binary (with some slight modifications) was set on automatic review. How long will it be in review? ... 3 days, 4 days 8 .... Thanks guys

Hi @Don, What exactly is the 2.13 rejection again? Are you saying that you resubmitted your application, and the current status is In Review? If so, it's probably only a matter of hours before you hear something. Otherwise, if it's just in the queue to get reviewed, then you're probably looking at around 6 days (the average for me) to get reviewed. Mark

The 2.13 is to say: 2.13: Apps That are Primarily advertisements or marketing materials Will Be Rejected. The resubmitted yesterday afternoon, and this in review since the got. I have written 3 emails in resolution center, but I think this is worth anything. Marketing are accusing me, and this application is a museum audio guide. I am very angry with apple. I am convinced that if this application were not free and would have on the appstore

One thing you could do is resubmit your application under a different category. That would likely prompt a new reviewer. Without seeing the app itself, it's hard for me to judge what they might be objecting to. A museum audio guide doesn't seem like advertising or marketing to me. Is the app free, or are you charging for it? If charging, and also charging for museum entrance, perhaps you should make the app free? Mark

The application is free. I really exposes the person pays the works to make the application. I advise you change the category? ... I have it in entertainment Edit: I just saw that I can not change the category.

Yeah, if it's currently in review, then you could not change the category. If it is Waiting Review, you could cancel that, change the category to something like Reference, and then put it under review again. Apple is very picky, but keep at it, and it'll probably make it through! Mark

Mark as I read, if self-Rejected queued again ... and these are more days of waiting. The strange thing is that this 24-hour review and have not been notified at all. Maybe it's that there are also lines for applications that are rejected. Thanks Mark

It's hard to say...the review process is not very transparent at all, so nobody really knows what goes on during it! Good luck, and let us know what happens? Mark

Thank you. As I read in the apple forums, while rejecting and re-upload the app. immediately placed under review, but it takes more days time, if you put it like new. I will continue to count. Thanks Mark

Apple can be real you know whats when it comes to rejecting apps. If I have learned anything it is to include a copyright/legal section. I would state in that: this app is purely for entertainment purposes only. The app is non profit and is protected under the fair use doctrine. Apple accepted one of my apps after i added that.

I think if apple when rejecting app gave a little more guidance on what is needed for change I would feel a lot more like a valued customer. I get the need to validate apps in the store and the method can be harsh. The fact that you are submitting an app is an achievement and with trial and error, and modification it will go through

Ohhh! Finally, the app has been approved. I think what happened was not normal, they rejected me on Sunday (if they work on Sundays, but I feel that not everyone) and rose again on Sunday another binary. This corrected some bugs, but they were minors. After it has been persistent, I sent in two days about 15 mails for all the ways that I could (which are few). Buzztouch love.
