System Menu Options

Tried to find a thread that contains this but did not. When someone hits the Menu button on Android, you have the option to refresh (which I don't think really works) or close. Do we or will we eventually have control of the Menu options?

Not sure I understand the issue, but when I'm in a BT app I've created I'm able to use the MENU button. In certain apps (Non BT apps) the button doesn't do anything, but that because of the app not that the button doesn't function. Fred

What I am saying is the Android MENU button. Currently when I press it, I only get NO OPTION CLOSE (which closes the menu screen popup) or Refresh (webpage if I have enabled that in advanced settings) or refresh screen (BT wise refresh). I would like full control of what is displayed when the Menu button is pressed.

I would also be wondering if control of the menu system(s) is available, in one fashion or another, or possibly included in the next revision. I would like to add a close application button, like the web version has. I know the back button will exit from the main window, but the menu option looks better to me. P.S. @ Fred, Was wondering if you got my email.

@ Rizon_Games I would also like to politely ask that [sco] not be capitolized (or different than the rest of the name). That is violation of SCO's copyright as OUR project is FREESCO (all cap or all lower). Sorry, we have had issues with SCO and this confusion and it is a hassle for us. Check out www.freesco.info ,this is the project (if anyone is interested) On topic I know I have followed the btnClose that is located in a source java file and the xml file, but not knowledgeable enough to know where to add those parts to the server version of my app. Will be a project for today though ;-)

@Free - Well I also thought about digging through the android files in eclipse and changing the Close (pop up window) to actually terminate the app. That is I can locate the menu functions ;) Sorry for the (c) violation!

No prob on the naming, happens all the time (unfortunately for us). We were told that if we comment back that it is incorrect, that we will not get in trouble for it, as we are correcting (to an extent) the confusion. @Free works for me ;-) Well I think I am going to try and screw up my app, and see if I can get this to work. Time to make a backup first though. If I knew enough of the java programming , I could see having this as a plugin, that would remove the work from the buzztouch developers long list of work, that I am sure they have already.
