Help needed with configuration file

I'd like to submit an update of my iOS app. Since my first release I've added through BT control panel some screens and some menu items. The icons of those items are on dropbox and I'd like to include them in the update, but if I change the item image location from image url to image.png i think I could have those users not updating through the appstore having a ? instead of the image on their first refresh I thought of changing it manually only in the config file submitted for the update but I'm not sure this could be good (I could have users updating via the app store and then refreshing with the button inside the app) Do you have any suggestions? Thank you Kahuna

Not now, it's in the update. But my problem is with some menu items' icons that are pulled from dropbox now (and then cached in the device)

upload the cached images(using the same names) to the dropbox use that link then get the BT_config.txt from the buzz touch site and paste in the BT_config.txt in Xcode then change the links to the local one in the BT_config.txt in Xcode. when apple approves your app change the links on the buzztouch site to be local not from the drop box.

That's what I thought to do so the new users and who update through the app store will be fine. What happen to those who don't update through the app store? At their first in-app refresh they'll get the new configuration file but they will not have the images in the code. I don't know if I explained in the correct way. Thx Fred I read it.

yep all users update and new users will be fine because the app reads the local config file before the server, i have done this before and it works fine . those that don't update aren't using the app
