Custom HTML Text - Background Colour

I'm running V1.5 android, just put a simple HTML Text page on there, but the background colour won't change. Any ideas?? Only got simple text on there.

How are you specifying the background color? Via the HTML page, or the configuration panel, where you can specify the background colors for that sort of screen? Thanks! Mark

I use the advanced screen properties at the bottom and go to Background colour

Any chance you have HTML that is overriding the color of the background you set? Or some document, like a PDF file, that may be changing it? Mark

Also, maybe changing the screen background color transparency to 100? I think that makes it solid. Setting to 0 is invisible. Mark

And this is a Custom HTML page, not a local HTML page that you have added? Finally...running in simulator or on real device? I can check this out on my system later tonight. Mark

Check in the Global themes. I remember having this issue too. I believe default bg is white #ffffff

In your HTML header what do you have set? <html style='background-color:transparent'> Or did you specify a background colour in the HTML?

Why not just set the background colour in HTML - worked for me :)

@mysps I checked the Global Theme and cleared it all out. Didn't help. @MacApple I'll check the coding when I get home, but I specified the background colour in the HTML. Here is a link to a screen shot of the setup: http://i.imgur.com/ZHEQt.png
